We are holding a memorial gathering to celebrate and remember with love Sophie, our darling daughter, sister, beloved family member and close friend to so many.

The memorial is being held at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses, SE24 9BN on 4th July 2026 from 3pm – 7pm. We hope that you will join us there.

There will be readings, music and tributes from 3.30pm – 4.30pm followed by a light buffet at 5pm, with the gardens and Greenhouses open for everyone to wander around and explore until 7pm.
If you would like to say some words there will be an opportunity at the end of the service for anyone to share. 

Directions 
All directions and access information to the Greenhouses can be found here. Parking around Brockwell Park is extremely limited so please use public transport if at all possible. The nearest train station is Herne Hill with the entrance to the park almost opposite the station. If you need to travel by car, please visit Parkopedia for parking suggestions.

Dress Code
Please do feel free to dress colourfully for a summers day celebration (though bear in mind that it is an inside and outside space and the weather can be unpredictable!)

Thank you all for the kind messages and flowers that have been sent to us. They have been a source of great comfort, showing us how greatly you cared for Sophie.

We would like to direct any donations to one of three charities.

 The Royal Marsden Hospital for their extraordinary care for Sophie over the last three years. (You can dedicate your donation to Sophie on the link below)

Maggie’s Centre in the hospital grounds, a wonderful charity that provided Sophie with a much needed safe space and a beautiful garden to escape to at times. 

River Action is a charity looking after all our rivers. While not well enough to work, Sophie wanted to contribute and use her skills to help causes she held dear so she worked with Theo who founded London Waterkeeper helping with research work when she was able.
