Whether someone has died, you’re planning ahead, or you simply have a question, we’re here to help.

Our telephone lines are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so whenever you need us, there will always be someone at the end of the phone.

Outside our usual office hours - after 5pm and at weekends - our team can arrange to bring the person who has died into our care, as well as take messages for our funeral team to respond to during office hours.

Our funeral home is open Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. We want to make sure we have plenty of time for you and can give you our full attention, so please make an appointment before visiting.

How to find us

  • Davids Road is a one-way street, situated just off the A205 south circular road directly by Forest Hill train station. The Signal pub is on the corner but this end of the street does not allow entry to vehicles.

  • If arriving by car, please set your sat nav to navigate to SE23 3EP. When you arrive in Forest Hill, turn off London Road at Waldenshaw Road, then turn right onto Manor Mount, which becomes Davids Road. Poetic Endings is on the right as the road becomes one way.

  • Free parking is available for up to two hours in the Sainsbury’s car park, a minute’s walk away from our funeral home. Drive to Davids Road and turn right onto Pearcefield Avenue – the Sainsbury’s car park is on the left. You will need to use the paybyphone app.

  • There is street parking on Davids Road, payable Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm via paybyphone. If you don’t have the app, we can help you.

  • The nearest train station is Forest Hill, just a minute’s walk away from our funeral home.

  • Forest Hill station is very well connected to central London stations with direct trains from London Bridge and Victoria. There are also direct trains from Highbury and Islington, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.
