Reuben Tompkins

17th September 1970 – 8th January 2026

 
 

Reuben died at King’s College Hospital on Thursday 8th January 2026. We were not ready to lose him and miss him so much. Thank you for your kind messages. We feel comforted by the love and support we are receiving.

Reuben’s funeral will take place at Honor Oak Crematorium on Thursday 12th February 2026 at 12:00PM. The address is Brockley Way, London SE4 2LJ.

 Please ensure you use the entrance on Brockley Way even if the sat nav says otherwise, as there is no throughway to the crematorium via the cemetery on Brenchley Gardens.

Wake
After the funeral, we will gather at The Rosendale Pub to share our memories of Reuben over food and drink. The address is 65 Rosendale Road, West Dulwich, London SE21 8EZ.

Dress code
Reuben didn’t like to be told what to wear, not even at work, so please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable. Colour is welcome.

Flowers

Donations
Alternatively, you can honour Reuben’s memory by donating to Guy’s Cancer Charity. Reuben received exceptional care and treatment from the oncology team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital.
