As an ethical funeral service, we don’t take commission from any of the florists we work with.
Our recommended florists are listed below. If you'd like to send flowers for one of the funerals we're arranging, please contact your chosen florist. The florist will liaise with us to arrange delivery.
Inspiration for funeral flowers
A spray goes on top of the coffin as a way to adorn it with flowers and foliage. This arrangement can either be planted in a wicker basket or a natural bespoke base. These designs are at least 3ft with trailing foliage, and created to include your favourite colours and plants.
Recommended size from 3ft to 6ft, depending on the size of the coffin.
3ft - £300
4ft - £400
5ft - £500
A sheaf is like a bouquet, but is hand-tied to allow the flowers to lie flat on the coffin. It can be created with your choice of colours, flowers and scents. It can also be created as three separate tied bouquets wound together, so it can be untied and taken home afterwards.
Simple sheaf (2ft) - £200
3ft - £300
4ft - £375
5ft - £450
A garland of flowers and foliage to go around the coffin, incorporating your choice of colours and scents.
Please note - garlands are only suitable for natural coffins.
Around £350 (£25 per foot)
A coffin blanket is made from a natural flexible frame with flowers and foliage delicately weaved through. It lays on the coffin, and is a beautiful and gentle alternative to sprays and sheaves.
From £400
If you would like to create something totally unique with flowers or plants, Katie can support you with creativity, imagination and practical know-how.
A few ideas - creating a meadow of flowers to surround the coffin, entwining glittering fairy lights into the coffin spray, taking inspiration from a beloved garden, a cherished painting or favourite fabric.
If it’s possible, Katie will work with you to make it happen.
You may want to have a basket of single stem flowers, foliage or herb bundles so everyone can place something onto the coffin, or throw into the grave.
