Michael passed suddenly and unexpectedly at home
on Wednesday 28th January 2026.

We were never ready to lose him at such a time in his life … no words can express how we miss him; Michael is forever in our hearts and minds.

Michael’s final rest
Michael’s funeral service will take place at Greenacres Kemnal Park Cemetery, Sidcup By-Pass, Chislehurst BR7 6RR on Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 11:30 AM followed by Michael’s final rest at 1:00 PM. Please arrive at Kemnal Park in plenty of time for a prompt 11:30 AM start.

The service will be live-streamed for UK family and friends unable to attend in person and for Michael’s numerous family and friends living in various countries across the planet (details below).

A green routemaster private bus will depart at 10:30AM to take family and friends (who choose not to drive) to Kemnal Park Cemetery and from there to Greenwich Borough Hall. The departure point will be at the rear of Lewisham Shopping Centre, Molesworth Street (A21 - dual carriageway), Lewisham, London SE13 7HB by the TfL Bus Driver changeover point. Please gather from 10:00AM for a prompt departure at 10:30AM.

Celebrating Michael’s ‘Supreme’ Life
We will gather at Greenwich Borough Hall, Royal Hill, London SE10 8RE
at 3:00PM to share our fond memories of Michael and celebrate his rich life with food, drink, music and art.

Dress Code
Smart casual with trainers. If you wish, please represent by wearing a ‘Supreme’ branded item and/or wear a touch of green to honour Michael’s love of plants and nature.

Michael’s temporary rest
If you would like to pay your respects to Michael before his funeral, a viewing will take place at Poetic Endings, 37 Davids Road, Forest Hill, London SE23 3EP on Tuesday 3rd March between 2:00 PM – 5:00PM.

Michael’s family are respectfully not accepting flowers either as a kind gesture of condolence or at Michael’s graveside. Please honour Michael’s memory by donating to SELCE, a renewable energy charity dedicated to alleviating fuel poverty in SE London.

Plants
Sending flowers is a lovely gesture, we would however appreciate instead if you can purchase a small potted plant in a ceramic white / wood / cane vase (you can take your plant home afterwards) to adorn your table at Greenwich Borough Hall during the celebration of Michael’s life.

You can order a small potted plant via Poetic Endings’ recommended florist or bring your own small plant from home.
