Avril died at Lewisham Hospital on Wednesday 10th June 2026.
We weren’t ready to lose her and will miss her so much.

A celebration of Avril’s life will take place at Bromley Old Town Hall on Thursday 2nd July 2026 at 3:00 PM. The event will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person (details below) and a recording will be available afterwards.

After the celebration, we’ll stay at Bromley Old Town Hall to share our memories of Avril over food and drink.

Directions & Parking
Avril’s celebration will take place in the Old Courthouse. Please enter via Brama Hotel at 6 Court Street, Bromley BR1 1AN.

Bromley Old Town Hall is located in the centre of Bromley, a short walk from Bromley South and Bromley North stations.

Car parking is available at Stockwell Close multi-storey or at The Glades, a short walk from Bromley Old Town Hall.

If you’re travelling from afar and need overnight accommodation, Brama Hotel is on-site. You can book via the website using the discount code BOTHevent. Other hotels are available in the area

A limited amount of blue badge parking is available on site. Please contact the Poetic Endings team on 020 4525 8318 if you have access needs.

Dress Code
Wear something you love and that Avril would appreciate. Nothing black please.
