Life. Death. Whatever.

In collaboration with the National Trust’s Sutton House the ‘Mary Poppins of Death’ Louise Winter and end-of-life doula Anna Lyons present Life. Death. Whatever.

Throughout the month of October, Sutton House will host an eclectic lineup of events, installations and workshops curated by the duo, encouraging creative reflection on life, death and everything in-between.

Sutton House, the oldest residence in east London, features medieval foundations, a Tudor kitchen, Jacobean and Georgian interiors, an Edwardian chapel, 80s graffiti under the roof and an urban oasis with an edible garden.

The house and garden will play host to an exhibition and a playful and lively lineup including a series from The Good Funeral Guide. Think chemists, cemetery angels, poets, perfumers, puppeteers and DJs meeting to celebrate the inevitable - wherever it is we’re all going to end up and our journey to getting there.

There’ll be cocktails, cake, tea, tears and much more.

Expect the unexpected.
