Remembering Peter John Millson

21st January 1959 -15th December 2025

Peter’s funeral will take place on Friday 30th January 2026.

Everyone is welcome. We’re so grateful for all your kindness and support over the last few weeks.

A remembrance service will take place at 12pm in the Oak Room, Sheepdrove Organic Farm, Lambourn, Berkshire, followed by his burial.

Due to the location, Sheepdrove strongly recommends that those attending aim to arrive at 11am. All roads are tarmacked. Please note the specific directions they provide and wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear if attending the burial.

There will be refreshments before the service and a chance to share stories and memories over food and drink until 5.30pm.

Sheepdrove is disability accessible. The burial wood is quite small, you pass it on the way to Sheepdrove. Following the service, you are welcome to attend the burial or wait at Sheepdrove, there are comfortable places to rest. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend (see below).

We’d love you to share your stories of Peter before Friday 30th which we can circulate to everyone who loved him. Please email peter.stories@proton.me. If you have any old photos, it would also be lovely to send or bring these to look at too.

Donations - only if you’re able to
Peter loved flowers but we think he would have preferred donations to the charities he particularly cared about. We have set up a memorial page where you can choose to donate to Oxfam, Save the Children, The Citizens Advice Bureau, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Foundation, Hospice UK. 

He also believed strongly in assisted dying. If you do too, we’d ask you to consider writing to your MP.
