Mike died peacefully at Lewisham Hospital on Friday 27th June 2025, after his family had spent the week by his side.

We weren’t ready to lose him and will miss him so much.

Mike’s funeral will take place at Honor Oak Crematorium, Brockley Way, London, SE4 2LJ on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at 11:00 AM. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend (details below).

The funeral will be followed by a lunch in the Pavilion in the grounds of the Horniman Museum & Gardens - 100 London Road, Forest Hill, London, SE23 3PQ. We suggest you park at the rear of the museum where there is free on street parking. You are very welcome to this informal part of the event.

Dress Code
Please wear whatever you are comfortable with.

Flowers
Although sending flowers is a lovely gesture, we’d appreciate donations in Mike’s memory to a charity close to his heart, London Wildlife Trust.
