Fran died at Kings College Hospital on Wednesday 24th December 2025 following 18 months of support for her physical needs at home following a fall and stroke in 2024.

We weren’t ready to lose her and will miss her so much.

Fran’s funeral will take place at Honor Oak Crematorium on Friday 30th January 2026 at 11:00 AM. The service will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend (details below).

Funeral Reception
After the funeral, we’ll gather at South London Botanical Institute,
323 Norwood Road, SE24 9AQ to share our memories of Fran over food and drink.

We will organise some transport between the venues, or it is very close to Tulse Hill station. Please see the SLBI website for further details.

Please accept our most sincere thanks for your kind words, cards, emails, texts and calls. We have been very comforted by the outpouring of love and support knowing she meant to much to you as well as to us. We have been grateful to hear and enjoy remembering different stories, surprising memories and thoughts over the last few weeks.
