CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF GARY EWER
27th November 1954 – 29th April 2025
Our wonderful Gary died at home, as he wished, on Tuesday 29th April with Mary and Katherine at his side. The sun had risen and the birds were singing in the garden.
We have been surrounded by love and kindness and comforted to hear how much he was loved and how much he meant to so many people.

Gary’s funeral will take place at City of London Crematorium, North Chapel on Thursday 29th May 2025 at 12pm.
After the funeral, we can walk from the Crematorium across Wanstead Flats and gather at The Golden Fleece (1.45pm) to share memories and light food.
If you have one, we would love you to bring a copy of a photograph of you with Gary for us to display and then keep.
Gary asked that people wear whatever they wish but bear in mind, he liked a bit of colour!
