Isabel Potter - Director of Operations/ Senior Funeral Director
After a career in arts and charity marketing, Isabel was a Funeral Director and Head of Operations at another modern funeral service - working there for more than seven years. She led thoughtful, person-centered funerals across Greater London and beyond, delivered excellent client care, trained and supported the growing team, and championed gentle death care in the mortuary. More recently, Isabel has worked at Cruse Bereavement Support as London Hub Manager and at St Christopher's Hospice as Deputy Community Action Lead. She is passionate about building confidence in others to talk about death, dying and loss, improving gentle death care, and leading meaningful, empowering funerals. She is also training to become a death doula with Living Well Dying Well. Isabel was born and brought up in SE London, loves swimming in Brockwell Lido all year round, life drawing and exploring with her kids. She loves dogs, so any friendly ones are very welcome to visit anytime.
Mitzi Weston - Funeral Co-ordinator
With a background in events, Mitzi transitioned to the funeral industry driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives during a difficult life event. Having attended funerals that left her feeling uninspired, she wants to help families realise that a funeral can honour the person who has died in a meaningful way.
Outside of work, Mitzi is deeply connected to her family across London and in Sheffield, and her five nieces and nephews are the light of her life. Music has always been a key part of Mitzi’s life and she enjoys playing jazz and classical piano. One of her proudest accomplishments is solo backpacking around Australia and South East Asia for several months.
Mitzi brings attention to detail, care and compassion to everything she does as our funeral coordinator.

Following the birth of her granddaughter, Clare now supports us on an ad hoc basis.
She loves walking her dog Dougie, volunteering for various charities and using her sewing machine.
Our wider team
An experienced team of funeral professionals support the Poetic Endings’ team in providing exceptional services to our clients and ensuring all aspects of our funerals run smoothly.
