Ralph Conal buckley
8th December 1965 – 31st May 2025
Our beloved Ralph – son, brother, uncle, father and husband – died at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea on Saturday 31st May 2025. He was very clear that he wanted his last party to be uplifting and joyful rather than a gloomy occasion.
In that spirit, a service to celebrate Ralph’s life will take place at;
Oaks Farm, Oaks Road, Croydon, CR0 5HL
on Monday 30th June 2025 at 11:00am
The celebration service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. Details are provided below.
After the service, everyone is welcome to stay at Oaks Farm to share memories of Ralph over food and drink.

Please note that parking onsite is limited and if you do intend coming by private car, we’d appreciate it if you could car-share where possible.
Later that afternoon, there will be a private committal for family and close friends at a natural burial ground nearby.
The love and support that Ralph’s family, friends and colleagues have so generously given over the past few weeks has been so consolatory for us. Thank you all for your kindness.
We’d absolutely love for you to share your stories of Ralph with us before the celebration service so that we can include a selection within the order of service. Please email Louise and we’ll share your stories with the whole family.
Dress code
Ralph didn’t want anyone to feel they had to wear black or dress formally – this is meant to be a celebration! Please feel free to wear whatever you like – bright colours and exciting patterns included!
Donations
We are fundraising for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in memory of Ralph, who was treated and cared for by amazing teams at both the Sutton and Chelsea branches.
No Flowers, donations Instead
Although sending flowers is a lovely gesture, we’d much prefer donations in Ralph’s memory to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
