The floral journey following death - a funeral floristry workshop

Learn all about the floral journey following death and the important story flowers can tell.  We discuss how we can create an imaginative farewell and look at each design with meaning, including sympathy gifts, funeral tributes, ceremony displays and memorial & remembrance flowers.

Award-winning funeral florist Cassandra Thompson from Stems UK will demonstrate one of her favourite farewell designs sharing eco-friendly methods.  You will be shown a small range of our most popular designs and discuss how tributes have evolved over the years, emphasising a more meaningful and imaginative farewell.

Funeral work can be just as rewarding as any other area within the flower industry.  As you build up your customer client database and share many milestones with loyal customers, providing an excellent service for funeral flowers in their time of need can be a privilege, contributing to a wonderful send off.

We will discuss funeral floristry with the aim of giving you confidence when taking orders, dealing with bereft customers, liaising with funeral directors for safe and timely deliveries and the impact designs can have on the service.

We’d love to meet you and share with you our bespoke world of funeral floristry.
