How it works and how much it costs

We're based in London and can help you to arrange a funeral anywhere within the Greater London area.

Guided and supported by our experienced team, we can help you put together a farewell that's meaningful and relevant; whether that's a simple ceremony or a personalised celebration of life.

We offer a simple and affordable package that covers the essentials.  You can then add extras to make the funeral fit your needs. We don't try to sell you anything you don't want or need; all we care about is helping you to put together a funeral which will genuinely help you to deal with the fact someone has died, in whatever way works for you.

Encouraging you to participate as much or as little as you wish, we help you to create the funeral you want and need to say goodbye to the person who has died.  We can offer advice on cemeteries, woodland and natural burials, crematoria, alternative funeral venues and memorial services.

We are here to help.  Please get in touch at any time to talk through the options.  We're help you to work out the right funeral for you, even if you don't know what that is right now.

3. Choose the coffin
4. Choose the hearse and decide if you'd like any funeral cars
5. Extras - make the funeral your own

As standard, our services include:

  • Completion of all the necessary paperwork.

  • Collection of the person who has died from anywhere within the M25.
    There's a charge of £150 for our out-of-hours service.

  • Our gentle and sensitive care of the person who has died in brand new facilities in SE6 (South East London) which includes our non-invasive approach, washing and dressing.

  • Spending time with the person who has died in a peaceful and beautiful setting overlooking the river, or a traditional chapel of rest. We can also bring them home, if that works for you.

  • Ongoing advice on all aspects of the funeral and the ceremony from our experienced team.

  • Support and guidance in carrying the coffin yourself, if you wish to do so, or use of our professional bearers (£40 per bearer).

Our promise to you

We pride ourselves on working transparently. All of our services and prices are listed online.

When we meet with you, we’ll talk through the options available and then send an email with an estimate of the costs. We’ll do everything we can to ensure you understand the range of services we offer and how much the funeral will cost including any known disbursements (the fees to be paid on your behalf to doctors, ministers, cemetery or crematoria authorities and other third parties).

If you are struggling to find the funds for the funeral, please get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to help you to have the funeral you want. You can find more information about the help available to you here.

Payment terms

We ask that payment is made in full before the funeral takes place. We can accept payment by bank transfer, credit or debit card or cash.

As part of our commitment to being a modern funeral service, we work with a modern bank called Tide. This means we are unable to accept cheques.
