You are all very warmly welcome to help us send off our beloved Claudio in style. We are planning a celebration worthy of a man who didn’t like to live life by halves.
Please join us on Friday 23rd February at Twickenham Rowing Club, Eel Pie Island, from 4.30pm for a 5pm start. We’re going to start with a celebration of his life followed by a fiesta for Claudio with food and drink. The bar will be open until 11pm.
Prior to this we will be attending Mortlake Crematorium at 3.20pm. Family and close friends are invited, but no children please. We plan for the crematorium part of the proceedings to be brief; the main celebration will be at the Rowing Club.
Claudio was not one for formalities, and we want to make this as light as is possible for the children, so please leave the dark suits in your wardrobes, let’s keep it as bright as we can (beanies are optional!).
No flowers, thank you. If you would like to contribute, then we are raising funds for two very pertinent charities - Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and The Princess Alice Hospice. If you would like to donate, you can do so here or Claudio’s friends will be making a collection on Friday.
I am putting together a memory book for the children so if you have any anecdotes or memories of Claudio you would like to share (suitable ones that is!) then please do jot something down and bring them with you or write in the book on Friday.
If you have any questions please contact Louise at Poetic Endings on 020 3291 3426 or my sister Ellen on 07944 011697
